2 a.m. Orchestra is the chameleon-like musical brainchild of David Kelley. The project originated as a late night recording blitz in Central California, fashioning a host of unique textures and melodies into a delicious mix of alt. rock and folk tunes. The "orchestra" manifests in many forms for live performance: full-on rock quartet, solo acoustic, and a six-piece acoustic ensemble (featuring percussion, mandolin, guitar and string section), the latter of which will perform at the showcase.
